Roots Veterinary Hospital

Founded as a deliberate departure from corporate medicine, Roots Veterinary Hospital in Tappan, New York is built on the conviction that great veterinary care grows from genuine relationships — and that philosophy runs deep here, literally. Owner Dr. Jason Chin grew up just across the street from where the practice now stands, is an active member of the NYS Veterinary Medical Society and Westchester Rockland Veterinary Medical Association, and co-founded Roots with Practice Manager Marissa Goldberg, a 16-year veterinary professional and fellow founding partner. Joining him is Dr. Amanda Olsen, a Ross University graduate with clinical training at Texas A&M and particular interests in surgery, preventive medicine, and dentistry. Services include wellness and preventive care, surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, urgent care, and technician appointments — with wellness plan options and Cherry financing available — all delivered in a practice where knowing your pet's name, personality, and history is part of the standard of care.
