Rialto Animal Hospital

A family-owned community institution since 1959, Rialto Animal Hospital on N. Ayala Drive in Rialto is an AAHA-accredited, Cat Friendly Certified practice with deep roots in the Inland Empire. Founded by the late Dr. Charles Elton Childs and built into a thriving full-service hospital under longtime owner Dr. Jeffrey Creswell — who retired in early 2025 after over four decades at the helm — the practice is now led by Dr. Heidi Schroer-Newell. Services span complete medical, surgical, and dental care including wellness visits, dentistry, spay and neuter, ultrasound, laser therapy, senior care, and pre-anesthetic testing — with a separate feline-exclusive Rialto Cat Hospital right next door for cats who deserve the royal treatment. The practice also proudly serves as the veterinarian of choice for K-9 officers of both the Rialto and Fontana Police Departments, a partnership the entire team considers a true honor.
