Veterinary Dental Specialties & Oral Surgery

Located on Preston Road in Plano, the VDS Dallas location is the newest addition to the Veterinary Dental Specialties network — a dental-only specialty practice exclusively focused on veterinary dentistry and oral surgery for pets. The Dallas location is led by Dr. Natalie Henderson, a South Africa native and Oklahoma State University DVM (2017) who spent years in general practice before pursuing dentistry training through VDS and completing her residency with the group, driven by her conviction that every patient deserves gold-standard dental care. Also seeing patients at this location is Dr. Brook Niemiec, a UC Davis DVM (1994) and one of fewer than 10 veterinarians worldwide to hold board certification from both the American and European Veterinary Dental Colleges as well as Fellowship in the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry — a globally recognized authority in veterinary dentistry who also chairs the WSAVA dental guidelines committee. Services span periodontal therapy, extractions, dental radiology, root canal therapy, vital pulp therapy, crowns, jaw fracture repair, orthodontics, bonded sealants, and tooth restorations, all performed with in-house anesthesia and a "no sedate and wait" philosophy.
